Excerpt from the Subha –

“As the poet Yunus sang: “You are what I need, I want nothing else” he said. You are all I need, O my Lord. Anta Rabbī, anta hasbī, You are my Lord, You suffice me. Anta Rabbī, anta hasbī. Ana ‘abduka l-dalīl, ya Rabbī, I am your straying slave, O my Lord. Awake, in the oceans of ardent love.”

“May our hearts be cheered, may there remain in us no sorrow, no darkness in our hearts. May there be no wildness left in us. Come to us, O Shah-i Mardan. Your Lovers are in awe of you. al- Fatiha.

Al-hamdu li-llah, shukur Allah, thanks be to the Lord. Insha’ Allah we will hear the song of the nightingales of the Throne, and will take in the scent of the roses of the Throne. We bow in sajda before the Presence of our Lord. We will be filled with joy and faith and love. Grant us the gift of Your Divine Support, O Lord.”
